Our last day on tour was incredible! The morning service in Wichita Falls was great, and lunch was wonderful. We had an uneventful drive home, thankfully, and our home performance was a lot of fun. This week has been wonderful, and God has blessed us all so richly for being obedient to His leading while we were away.
The home presentation went well, in spite of the fire alarms! Actually, I think the home presentation, with all its distractions, was a very accurate synopsis of our week away. Don't you think it was "ironic" that the alarms went off just before the most powerful moment of drama and music in the musical? (Remember on Wednesday, Randall gave his heart to Christ after hearing the drama and the song, "Shackles".) Satan was attacking us all week, and your students showed their spiritual maturity by resisting him, praying, and boldly going through with what God had called us to do. We were so proud of the way the students recognized Satan's attack, prayed about it, and finished the presentation with even more strength and focus than they started with! And that's really impressive considering it was at the very end of a very tough week.
Thank you for allowing us to take your students on tour. Thanks for your many, many prayers; they were powerful and effective, and we could feel them working. Thank you, church, for commissing this group of incredible 8th and 9th graders to do God's work as missionaries. And all glory to God for an incredible, awesome, exciting, fulfilling week!
