What a day! The kids were great again, as usual. They have really been bold in sharing their faith in Jesus with pretty much EVERYONE they meet! Including the people on the bank of the Riverwalk while we were in the boats!
This morning, a group went to serve meals in a homeless shelter again, and did a great job. A couple of the boys have been talking with a man about his need for Christ over the past couple mornings.
The rest of the choir was either helping with a car wash at Oak Manor Apartments, or cleaning and painting again at Northridge Park Baptist Church all morning. Then in the afternoon everyone participated in the car wash. We were able to visit with many folks about their lives and spiritual things while we washed their car.
Tonight we ate dinner at The Alamo Quarry, a shopping center of sorts, before loading up to go downtown and hop on the riverboats. It felt good to take a day off from singing, and the students had a great time taking in the sights of the city tonite.
That's it for today! We will clean up, pack up, and roll out in the morning for Fiesta Texas. Enjoy today's photos!
