"Get Crazy" day 1 went very well, but we had mighty and torrential rain fall ALL DAY LONG!! Your students are making you proud, and they are communicating God's love to many people everywhere they go. Our first stop was a hospital where we sang in a 3 to 4 floor open atrium. People came and went as they were available to do. A lady came by after the presentation to say that her niece was injured in an accident and may not live. She thanked the students for coming to sing here so that they could hear. God communicated to her personally! It was great to see the students respond to that with, "If she and her family are the only ones, that is enough." Though, I can personally tell you that she and her family were NOT the only ones ministered to. Kim asked the students near the end of the presentation to see if they wanted to do "We Bow Down". The overwhelming response was to sing that last song. What is most incredible about that is that this is a state run hospital where Christian groups are not generally allowed to sing. One line of the song is, "We confess You are Lord in this place." It was simply chilling to hear those words go out in that atrium. Those people there did not necessarily confess that, nor is that the general consensus of the state, but that does NOT CHANGE THE FACT!! He is Lord in "this place" and that place and EVERYWHERE!! Your students glowed as those words came out of their mouths! It was fabulous. Then we went to a mall fairly close by for dinner. They came back with stories about people they met and shared Christ with. They were contagious!
