Wednesday, June 9

On day 2 we were to gather children from a nearby apartment complex and lead them in some crafts and games and, again, share Christ and His love. They were initially disappointed by the number of children to come. By the end of the day, the number didn't matter as much as the contact and therefore IMPACT they were able to have a just a few lives!

Another group helped with the local "Meals on Wheels" program. So, we were all over Galveston today EARLY...just ask Kim!

Later we went to sing at another hospital. The room they had us in was TINY, but, again, God's love was proclaimed in a mighty way! We even had one more presentation before this day would end. We sang at the church where they had conducted the "backyard Bible club" earlier. Many of the same kids came back to hear "Get Crazy." It was a wonderful experience again! Your students are making connections and making a difference!

They are also blessing us with some well thought out and prepared devotions. Larry even commented tonight that he was pleased with the level of maturity and leadership he sees in many of these students. You can be very proud! Another sponsor said that she was amazed at how prepared they all are and at how well they communicate the message they came to bring.

Kim showed us a scripture passage this morning about God's revealing Himself to each of personally...she asked us to be looking for it today. EACH student could share something at the end of the day! He is proving His word true to these students, and Kim is making sure in a very clear way that they see that is what is happening.

Well, it is 1:03, and time for bed! Good night and blessings!
