Priority… WHATEVER!!

If you don't know yet, that is our theme for the tour. It will make more sense when you see the presentation Sunday. This tour started for me on last Sunday when I heard Priority singing the words, "YES, I believe. I believe with all that is in me… I am determined…" Those words were sung with boldness and fists in the air. I heard the determination and conviction in that song, and so the tour began.

But now to the actual first day of tour… Tuesday. The most striking thing about yesterday was hearing the words to the script and songs as they related to the children in the girls' ranch and children's home. Their experience is so different from these students' experience. Several of the sponsors and students were "hit" by the same reality. Some of the words talk about how if we were "somebody," our fathers could be proud of us and love us… how we are not loved by our parents (these are words spoken by the character "LIES"). Your students were sensitive to the feeling that it could be these students' reality. Then the choir would come back in and sing, "I have Father. He calls me His OWN. He'll NEVER leave me… no matter where I go. He KNOWS MY NAME." The also sing during the course of things that there are many "voices" talking to us, but that "I will choose to listen and believe the voice of TRUTH!" What a testimony to these kids where we have sung! The seed of TRUTH is planted! The FATHER of all TRUTH has already defeated the ultimate deceiver!!

I have just learned that we will be singing in the capitol today (Wed)… ending with "YES, I believe. I believe with all that is in me! I will be faithful to the choice I have made." The lawmakers in this land will hear students standing up with determination and conviction!! My prayer is that some of the lawmakers will be reminded of the choices they may have made… or make one in the direction of TRUTH today!!

I can't wait to see what today holds!!!!!!!!
