Day 4.

We had much trouble with communication out in the middle of NOWHERE, so we did not get to update everyone on the end of our trip. This will wrap up Priority Tour 06.

On Friday, there was a great deal of hand holding and kissing!! I would really not want to be the one to start a rumor, but it was quite the amorous group! Before you get all worried if you student was involved…the answer is YES!! They were all holding hands of many elderly people in a couple of nursing homes where they sang. We learned that a kiss on the cheek was meant to be a blessing, and many of us were BLESSED!! To be sure, your students loved on and touched and ministered to and BLESSED the residents at the Senior Village.

After lunch that day, we went to a couple of areas to help with clean up that is ongoing from hurricane damage suffered almost a year ago. The students got to listen to a live blue-grass band…it really was a treat! It was on this day that we were challenged truly to live out what they had been singing, “Praise You in this Storm” and to truly know in our hearts that He is “Watching Over Me.” One of our students got sick from being over-heated. She needed medical attention just to be on the safe side. Without prompting by sponsors, the students began praying in groups and began singing the songs of truth that they had shared so many times already in the week. We saw many times over how phrases and words like “it just so happened” and “coincidentally” and others can really all be translated that God is “Watching Over Me.”
