Saturday was mostly a day of travel…but on some of those Louisiana roads (sorry Kenneth) that feels like work! But before I get us on our vans, let me tell you about how your students went the extra mile…AGAIN! We were told to have our luggage at the truck and the rooms cleaned out by a certain time. Student after student came looking for brooms to sweep out their rooms! They had NOT been asked to do that. They were wanting to leave our home for the week extra clean and nice…better than they had found it. It looked great and the truck was loaded in record time! What a group! The rest of the day was spent traveling and at a water park. When we got to Longview (finally back on Texas roads!) we were getting to our rooms with NO sound at all. I have said before, to illustrate how quietly they walked the halls to their rooms, that one student took off her flip-flops because they were slapping against her heel!! WHAT?!
